In a first for the SANFL, Central District will have its own indoor training pool in its new gym facility currently being constructed at the northern end of the Hamra Homes Oval grandstand.
The 13m long x 4m wide x 1.2m deep pool will be used primarily for rehabilitation and recovery. The pool, trucked in from Perth, also features powerful water jets to provide a water current to swim against during training sessions.
Next door the spacious 17m x 13m wide gym will feature the latest gym equipment and provide valuable space.

A new Coach's Box will be constructed on top of the gym along with two corporate boxes to provide that extra special service during home games.

Meanwhile inside Grand Central new carpet has been laid throughout while privacy in the gaming area has been improved with the addition of frosted glass panels, automatic doors and mood lighting.
In accordance with anti-smoking legislation three outdoor areas have been introduced. A smoke-free Grand Central is a more pleasant environment for members and guests alike.
The main entrance of Grand Central has also beenrevamped with a new 10-metre tower welcoming visitors.
