JAYMIE-LEE ROSS FOUNDATION PURPLE FAMILY FUN DAY

Talented youngster, Isaya McKenzie (#1) has unfortunately recently lost a loved one. Please help support his family and friends by attending the following family fun day:
JAYMIE-LEE ROSS FOUNDATION PURPLE FAMILY FUN DAY
FEBRUARY 21ST, 2016 @ 11.30AM - 4.00PM
ARGARNA PARK, ELIZABETH DOWNS

The Jaymie-Lee Ross Foundation was established in 2015 following the death of Jaymie-Lee Ross, aged 18, to SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy). Despite Jaymie's tumultuous daily struggles with constant uncontrolled seizures, medication and lengthy hospital stays, she dedicated her adolescent life to raising Epilepsy awareness and raising funds towards Epilepsy research. Jaymie initiated the Purple Family Fun Day during her senior schooling years at Xavier College which successfully generated $5,500 for the Epilepsy Center. (Each year, more than 1 out of 1,000 people with epilepsy die from SUDEP. If seizures are uncontrolled the risk of SUDEP increases to more than 1 out of 150 - Epilepsy Foundation)

Since Jaymie's death her family have worked tirelessly to continue her legacy. The Jaymie-Lee Ross Foundation is committed to alleviating the financial stress upon families who are seeking equipment such as monitors and seizure mats of which come at an exorbitant expense. With the unwavering support of our community and Dr. Damian Clark from the Women's and Children's Hospital we are able to reduce future cases of SUDEP by providing this critical equipment to our most vulnerable.

The next Purple Family Fun Day will be held on the 21st of February @ 11.30AM, Argarna Park. In order to achieve Jaymie's vision we are seeking assistance from our local community. The day will be filled with many activities such as sausage sizzle, live music, a 20/20 cricket match, sumo suits, jumping castle and plaster fun. Among the auction will be a signed and framed Central Districts Football Club game jersey by our 2016 squad.

We hope to see you there, your contribution will save a life.
