Young Bulldogs show promise

Young Bulldogs show promise
While the Central District under 16s have won just one of their opening three contests, the competitiveness of the group and the diversity of talent coming through should hearten the Doggies faithful.
Against the competition yardstick, North Adelaide, who are expected to go through undefeated and win the Macca's Shield, the lads went down by 48 point, but there were promising signs.
The final scores were the Bulldogs 10.7 (67) defeated by North  16.19 (115).
In round two of this abridged competition the boys had a strong 46 point win over West Adelaide on home soil and in the season opener on the second last Sunday in March, Richard Cochrane troops were high competitive for three quarters against the Eagles.
Captain Brendan Dew has displayed real leadership, while Salisbury North
Hawk Josh Richardson has been a strong contributor each week.
Other players of note have included Damien Nangle, while last Sunday Connor Robinson and Jordan Furnell excelled.
