Harbs' Pre-trial-match Rant

A big welcome to all supporters for 2017.
2017 shapes to be an exciting year for our footy club with a healthy list completing the majority of pre-season training and the introduction of some high-quality additions to our playing list.
Recruits Josh Glenn, Jack Hannath, John Butcher, Ben Nason and Will Hewett have added another professional dimension to approaching training and have been brilliant additions to our group.
Some quality youngsters to watch for this year are Dylan Weaver, Josh Richardson and Jordon Boyle who are burning up the track. They are all very hard trainers with a passion to get the best out of themselves, which improves everyone.
Another fantastic addition to our club are a number of new trainers who have come to assist the tireless efforts of trainers Belly, Mel, Simon, Keith and Duane.
Bulk Gossip from the Kennel
As always, it is interesting to let people know of some news from around the camp:
Tom Collier and his lovely partner Eliza are getting married over the long weekend.
Ex- teammate Andrew Hayes is getting married to his lovely partner Kara over the long weekend also.
Nick Holman is on a diet because he thinks he is overweight. When watching the footy this year, please pay close attention to how skinny his legs are.
Kris Grant’s poor attitude towards life has improved by 0.01%.
Jacob Templeton could quite possibly quit football to either be a) a professional body builder or b) a skinny model.
Chris Jansen has changed his Instagram name to include his footy number because he is a big head.
My brother Josh has joined the kennel for season 2017. He is 6ft, stronger and a bigger kick of the footy than me. But in the famous words of cricketer James Ormond to Mark Waugh “…at least I am the best player in my family”.
We have an internal trial game on Friday, March 10 at My Money House Oval so feel free to come down and watch us officially begin our 2017 campaign!
See you at the footy,
