Special Cruskit Edition

Keen reporter Luke Habel here on duty because Trent has just purchased a new puppy dog with his lovely girlfriend Carly (which is an unwritten marriage vow) and has been embarrassingly busy tending to the little pug cross cavalier (Pugalier). Trent has been more than embarrassing since buying the dog on Australia Day. In the short week that he has had “cruskit” certain humorous events have occurred:

1. Scott Dutschke had his wedding and instead of staying out in the country Trent decided to forgo a motel room and go back into town and check to see if little “cruskit” was ok. All the while Ryan “Boot Scootin” Bottin- Noonan was already at home with his lovely girl friend from Sydney! I believe that “boots” would look after a young puppy overnight very well but obviously there are a few trust issues in that household!

2. Trent somehow managed to convince Kris “Krispy” Grant to allow ‘Cruskit” to come into work for a day. I was picked up in the morning to go to work with Trent and was forced to sit in the back seat because as worded by Trent “Cruskit is sleeping at the moment mate and looks comfortable, so just jump in the back!”  It’s fair to say that I wasn’t the happiest bloke going around!

3. “Cruskit” has already become the man of the relationship by refusing to walk when he has a lead on him. This results in Trent continually picking “Cruskit” up and starting to talk to him in a baby voice saying things like “Awww is your neck a bit sore Crusky?” or “Are your wittle paws a bit sore boy?”….Ridiculous!

4. Cruskit attended ‘puppy school’ for the first time only days ago. His courageous, tough guy persona has apparently been dwindled away to be classed as a coward after numerous dogs came to inspect this weird looking creature only for him to yelp and run straight back to his mother and father (Trent and Carly)!
