ROUND 4: SUNDAY 16 SEPTEMBER @ PROSPECT OVAL -

 

Under 17 -

 

In what was a close and extremely physical game, the Under 17’s lost their last game of the program by 5 points to the Eagles.

The girls just couldn’t make the most of their opportunities in the third quarter, and only kicking three points.

ROUND 3:  SUNDAY 9 SEPTEMBER @ GLIDEROL STADIUM -

 

The Under 15 girls side had a fantastic win over North Adelaide in their game on the weekend at Gliderol Stadium.

The scoreline does not show an indication to the true competitiveness of the game with both sides really tackling well and hitting in hard.

The Under 17’s had another hard fought game.

Both sides never gave up and played some hard contested football.  

The Under 17’s just had a bit more class over their opponents to come away with a 26 point win.

ROUND 2: SUNDAY 2 SEPTEMBER @ MY MONEY HOUSE OVAL - 

 

The girls took to My Money House Oval on Father’s Day against Glenelg.

From the first bounce, the Under 15’s certainly showed their intent.  Tackling well and playing a fantastic style of football, the girls led from start to finish running out winners by 57 points.

The Under 17’s didn’t have it all their own way.  The second quarter for the Under 17’s could have cost them the game.  

They were second to the ball and didn’t look interested.  After half time they certainly come out firing and eventually ran out winners by 9 points in a hard fought game.

ROUND 1: SUNDAY 26 AUGUST @ PETER MOTLEY OVAL - 

 

The Under 15 and Under 17 Talent Shield girls took the field for their first game of the year, against Sturt on Sunday 26th August.

Both sides came up against very physical Sturt outfits.  The girls never game up and played some pretty good football.

This week sees the girls play Glenelg at My Money House Oval from 10:00am.
