ROUND 18 MATCH WRAP UP -
The Under 18’s season came to a sudden halt with a loss to Norwood on the weekend.
Although it was a disappointing end to the year, the players and coaching staff should be proud of their efforts.
The year had its ups and downs as all seasons do. To be in the finals race right to the last round was a good effort.

ROUND 17 MATCH WRAP UP -
The Under 18’s had a disappointing game against the Eagles on Saturday.
In such a crucial game, effort and attitude for three quarters was not what is required at this level. By the last quarter, they kicked into gear.
This week's game is a do-or-die clash against Norwood at Coopers Stadium. The winner of the game plays finals and the loser is finished for the season.

ROUND 16 MATCH WRAP UP -
The Under 18’s had an outstanding win over West Adelaide on Saturday at My Money House Oval.
Westies jumped out with the first 2 goals of the game. This must have shocked the boys into action, getting to the first break 2 goals up and from them they were never headed.
It was a fantastic team performance, especially with two late withdrawals due to sickness, from Senior players in Captain Mitchell Payne and Josh Spence.

ROUND 15 MATCH WRAP UP -
The Under 18’s had a hard fought win over Sturt by 2 points, at My Money House Oval on Saturday.
In a game where no side could gain the ascendency, the young Bulldogs came from behind to get over the line.

ROUND 14 MATCH WRAP UP -
The Under 18's had their best four-quarter effort for the year, with a fantastic 40 point win over Glenelg at Gliderol Stadium

ROUND 13 MATCH WRAP UP -
The Under 18’s had a fantastic 12-point win over West Adelaide on Saturday night, at City Mazda Stadium.
For the first 3 quarters it was a tight tussle. In the last quarter they hit their straps by outscoring the opposition 5 goals to 2.
The pleasing thing is that there were six Under 16’s playing. The draw certainly hasn’t been favourable with thos being their 4th away game in a row, and one more this week against Glenelg.

ROUND 12 MATCH WRAP UP -
In what was an important game for the Under 18’s, the boys certainly didn’t show it in the first half.
The coaching staff were bitterly disappointed with their efforts on the weekend.
The players will have to bounce back pretty quickly and get their competitiveness back very quick.

ROUND 11 MATCH WRAP UP -
It was a case of so near but yet so far for the Under 18’s.
The young Under 18 side lost by 2 points to South Adelaide on Saturday. For three and a half quarters they gave their all, but just couldn’t hold on.
The boys can be proud of their effort but they just need to be a little better in those crucial moments.

ROUND 9 MATCH WRAP UP -
On Friday 1st June, the Under 18’s took on the Eagles under lights, at My Money House Oval.
Again, the side got away to a slow start with the Eagles getting the better of the Bulldogs in the first 20 minutes.
The pleasing thing is, the players never gave up. With this being the half way point of the season, they will need to improve on their starts as well as their goal kicking, to have a shot at September action.

ROUND 8 MATCH WRAP UP -
The Under 18’s took on Norwood at My Money House Oval, on Saturday 26th May.
After a slow 10 minute start, the side hit its straps and recorded a good 75 point win.

ROUND 7 MATCH WRAP UP -
In what is a character building win for the Under 18’s, a slow start to the game worried the coaching staff.
At the quarter time break, Coach Shayne Collins told the players what he thought of the quarter, and to the players credit they responded.

A poor first quarter cost the Under 18’s their game against South Adelaide on Saturday. After a rev up at quarter time, the Under 18’s outscored their opponents 8 goals to 7.

ROUND 5 MATCH WRAP UP -
In a game they controlled for the first half, it’s a game that got away from the Under 18’s.
The second half and the skill level was not up to the standards they have set in the first few weeks.
The players will have to bounce back quickly, as they are set to take on the top placed South Adelaide, at City Mazda Stadium this Saturday.

ROUND 4 MATCH WRAP UP -
A slow start to the game saw Sturt jump out to a 4 goal head start, and the Under 18’s couldn’t peg the margin back.
The side never really got going until the last quarter, which was their most productive of the game.

ROUND 3 MATCH WRAP UP -
The Under 18’s scrapped out a solid 27 point win in windy conditions.
West Adelaide kept taking the fight up to the Under 18 side, but we held strong in the last quarter to run out winners.

ROUND 2 MATCH WRAP UP -
In warm conditions, the Under 18's continued their good form, with a win against the Eagles.
Leading for most of the game, the Eagles threatened to take the game at stages, but the side dug deep and held on for a 22 point win.

ROUND 1 MATCH WRAP UP -
In what was a tight game all night, the Under 18’s came away with a 10-point win.
The game started at a frenetic pace in the first quarter, with free flowing and good movement of the football.
From quarter time onwards, the game turned into a scrappy affair.
